Console Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms are a contract between you and Paul Alexander Films Ltd, trading as Console ("Console", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16949226, registered office Cardigan House Ground Floor, Castle Court, Swansea, Wales, SA7 9LA). They govern your use of Cue, the studio booking and management platform, and any other Console products you access through the same account (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, clicking to accept, or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and "you" means that business.
These terms apply to studios and businesses who use Cue to run their operations ("Tenants"). They do not apply to the members of the public who book a Tenant's rooms through its booking page; those people contract with the Tenant, and the Tenant's own terms and policies apply to them.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
| Term | Meaning |

| Tenant | A business that has an account with us and uses the Service to run its operations |
| Authorised Users | Your owners, staff and team members you invite to your account |

3. Your account
You must be at least 18 and using the Service for business purposes. The Service is not offered to consumers.
You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by your Authorised Users. Keep login details secure, make sure each Authorised User has their own login, and tell us straight away at the address in section 15 if you think an account has been compromised.
You must give us accurate account, business and contact details and keep them up to date. We may rely on the email address on your account for all notices.
Each Tenant gets its own workspace, subdomain and booking page. You may not access or attempt to access another Tenant's workspace or data.
4. Plans, trials, fees and billing
Plans. The features, limits and prices of each Plan are set out on our pricing page when you subscribe. We may add, change or retire Plans and features. If we change the price of your current Plan we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price takes effect.
Free trial. New accounts may start with a free trial of a paid Plan. No payment card is needed to start a trial. When the trial ends, if you have not chosen a paid Plan your account moves to the free tier and paid-only features are switched off. Nothing is charged automatically. One trial per business.
Billing. Paid Plans are billed monthly in advance on the date you first subscribed and on the same date each month after that. Fees are in pounds sterling. Where VAT applies it will be shown separately. Payments are taken by our payment provider and will appear on your statement as "PA Tech".
Failed payments. If a payment fails we will tell you and retry. If it is still unpaid 14 days after the due date we may suspend paid features or downgrade your account to the free tier until it is settled. Your Customer Data is kept during a suspension.
Cancellation and refunds. You can cancel a paid Plan at any time from your account settings. Your Plan stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for, then moves to the free tier. Fees are not refundable for partial months, except where the law requires or we have agreed in writing.
Upgrades and downgrades. Upgrades take effect immediately and the difference is charged pro rata for the rest of the current month. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing month.
5. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for running your own business and only in line with the law. You must not, and must not allow anyone else to:
- send messages (email, SMS, WhatsApp or social posts) through the Service to anyone who has not agreed to receive them, or in breach of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, the UK GDPR, or the terms of Meta, Twilio or any other channel provider
- upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, obscene, or that you do not have the right to use
- use the Service to run a business that is unlawful or that we reasonably consider brings the Service into disrepute
- interfere with the security or performance of the Service, probe or scan it for vulnerabilities, or attempt to bypass usage limits, access controls or payment
- use automated tools to scrape, crawl or bulk-extract data from the Service beyond the exports we provide
- resell, sublicense or provide the Service to any third party, other than letting your End Customers use your booking page
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your relationship with us
You are solely responsible for your End Customers' bookings, your studio's rules, your refund and cancellation policies, and the content of every message and post sent from your account. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach this section.
6. Intellectual property
What we own. The Service, including all software, code, databases, designs, user interfaces, workflows, automations, documentation, the Cue and Console names and logos, and all improvements to them, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, database right and other intellectual property laws. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your business while your account is in good standing. No other rights are granted.
What you own. You keep all rights in your Customer Data, your brand assets and your content. You give us a licence to host, copy, process, display and transmit them only as needed to provide the Service to you, to keep it secure, and as these terms allow.
Restrictions. You must not, and must not help anyone else to:
- copy, modify, translate, adapt or create derivative works of the Service or any part of it
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code, underlying structure, data models or algorithms of the Service
- use the Service, or any knowledge of how it works gained from using it, to build, train or improve a product that competes with the Service, or to help anyone else do so
- remove or alter any copyright notice, branding or attribution in the Service
- access the Service for benchmarking, competitive analysis or to publish performance comparisons without our written consent
Feedback. If you give us suggestions or feedback about the Service, we may use them freely without any obligation to you.
Our name. You may say that your business uses Cue. You may not use our name or logos in any other way without our written permission.
7. Customer Data and privacy
Roles. For the personal data of your End Customers and staff, you are the controller and we are your processor under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Our Data Processing Addendum forms part of these terms and sets out how we process that data on your instructions. For the personal data of your own account holders and the business relationship between us, we are a controller and our Privacy Policy applies.
Your responsibilities. You must have a lawful basis for the data you collect through the Service, give your End Customers the privacy information the law requires, and obtain any consents needed for marketing emails, SMS, WhatsApp messages and review requests sent through the Service. You decide which automations and messages run; we provide the tools.
Sub-processors. We use third-party providers to host and run the Service, including cloud hosting, database, email, SMS and messaging, payment and AI providers. A current list is in section 5 of the Data Processing Addendum. We will give you notice of material changes.
Security. We keep appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect Customer Data, including per-Tenant data isolation, encryption in transit, access controls and backups. No system is perfectly secure and you must keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.
AI features. Some features use AI models to classify enquiries, suggest replies and generate marketing copy. Outputs are suggestions; you are responsible for reviewing anything before it is sent or published.
Exports and deletion. You can export your core data from the Service at any time. After your account is closed we keep Customer Data for 30 days so you can recover it, then delete it from live systems, except where we must keep records by law (for example, payment records) or where it sits in backups that are overwritten on a rolling schedule.
Aggregated data. We may use data that does not identify you or any individual, such as usage statistics across all Tenants, to run and improve the Service.
8. Third-Party Services and End Customer payments
Connecting services. Cue lets you connect Third-Party Services such as Stripe, Square, Meta, Microsoft 365, Google and Xero. Each is governed by its own terms, which you accept directly with that provider. We are not responsible for Third-Party Services, their availability, their fees, or what they do with your data. If a provider changes or withdraws its API, the connected feature may stop working and we are not liable for that.
End Customer payments. Payments your End Customers make for bookings, memberships and products go through your own Stripe or Square account, directly to you. We are not a party to those transactions, do not hold those funds, and are not responsible for chargebacks, refunds, disputes or payment provider fees. You are responsible for your own refund and cancellation terms and for complying with your payment provider's rules.
Messaging channels. WhatsApp, SMS and social media posting depend on Meta, Twilio and other carriers. Message delivery is not guaranteed, and those providers may block, rate-limit or charge for messages according to their own policies. You are responsible for any sender registration, template approval or business verification those providers require of you.
9. Smart locks and physical access
Cue can issue and revoke door codes and unlock commands through supported smart lock systems. This feature depends on your lock hardware, your gateway, your internet connection and the lock manufacturer's cloud service, none of which we control.
You are responsible for choosing, installing, maintaining and securing your locks and gateways, for keeping a manual override available, and for your premises, your End Customers and your property while they are on site. You must not rely on the Service as the only way to secure your premises.
We are not liable for any loss, damage, theft or injury arising from a lock failing to open or close, a code failing to issue or revoke, unauthorised entry, or any delay in access, except where caused by our own negligence or wilful default.
10. Availability, support and changes
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may take the Service down for maintenance, and will try to give notice and schedule it outside UK working hours where we can.
Support is provided by email during UK business hours. Response times depend on your Plan.
We improve the Service continually and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature that is material to your Plan we will give you at least 30 days' notice. We may also release beta or early-access features, which are provided as-is and may change or be withdrawn without notice.
11. Term, suspension and termination
These terms apply from the day you create an account until the account is closed.
By you. You can close your account at any time from account settings or by emailing us. Closing your account cancels any paid Plan under section 4.
By us. We may suspend or close your account, with notice where practical, if you: materially breach these terms and do not fix it within 14 days of being told; fail to pay Fees after the period in section 4; use the Service in a way that risks harm to us, other Tenants or the public; or become insolvent. We may also close free-tier accounts that have been inactive for 12 months after emailing you first.
We may close the Service entirely on at least 90 days' notice, in which case we will refund any Fees paid for the period after closure.
Effect. On termination your right to use the Service ends, Fees already due remain payable, and section 7 governs what happens to your Customer Data. Sections 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14 survive termination.
12. Warranties, disclaimers and liability
Our warranty. We will provide the Service with reasonable skill and care. Apart from that, the Service is provided "as is" and we exclude all other warranties, conditions and terms implied by law to the fullest extent permitted, including any warranty that the Service will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted, or be free of errors.
What we do not exclude. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
What we exclude. Subject to that, we are not liable to you for any loss of profit, revenue, business, bookings, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, however arising, even if we were told it was possible.
Cap. Subject to that, our total liability to you for all claims arising in any 12-month period, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the Fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. For free-tier and trial accounts, that cap is £100.
Your End Customers. You are responsible for your dealings with your End Customers. We have no liability to them and you will not represent otherwise.
13. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against any claims, losses, fines and reasonable costs we suffer as a result of: your breach of section 5 (acceptable use) or section 7 (your data protection responsibilities); any claim by an End Customer or third party arising from your business, your premises, your content or your messaging; or any Customer Data you upload infringing someone else's rights. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you control its defence, provided you keep us informed and do not settle in a way that admits fault on our behalf without our consent.
14. General
Changes to these terms. We may update these terms. For material changes we will email you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that date you accept the new terms; if you do not agree, close your account before then.
Confidentiality. Each of us will keep the other's non-public information confidential and use it only for the purposes of these terms. This covers our pricing, roadmap and anything we share with you that is not publicly available, and your business and Customer Data. It does not cover information that is public, already known, independently developed, or that must be disclosed by law.
Notices. We will send notices to the email address on your account. You can send notices to us at the address in section 15.
Assignment. You may not transfer these terms or your account without our written consent. We may transfer them to a successor business or group company, for example if Console becomes its own company, and will tell you if we do.
Force majeure. Neither of us is liable for failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages at third-party providers, internet failures, strikes or government action.
Entire agreement. These terms, together with the Data Processing Addendum, Privacy Policy and pricing page, are the whole agreement between us and replace any earlier discussions. Any partner, referral or enterprise agreement signed by both of us takes priority over these terms where they conflict.
Severability and waiver. If any part of these terms is unenforceable the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it.
Third parties. No one other than you and us has any rights under these terms.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
